Silver Class

Silver Class

Hello,

Silver Class is made up of an inquisitive and adventurous group of young adults in Key Stage 3. Our class teachers are Jane and Jade. Our teaching assistants are Molly and Sara.

This year we will be working on our Life Skills and independence both in school and in the local community on trips we plan as a class. We place great emphasis on developing independence and communication skills and have the highest expectations of our pupils encouraging them to achieve their goals no matter how big or small.

We look forward to our many exciting adventures this year! - Silver Team!

IMPORTANT CLASS INFORMATION

Home School Diaries

We ask families and carers to return the Home School diary each day, as this will enable the class staff to provide comments and information about your child's day in school. If there are particular things you wish to be informed about, please speak with the class teacher.

Individual Education Plans

These set out the priority targets that your child is working on for the term; these targets are linked to the overarching targets set out in your child's EHCP. IEPs are updated each half term and sent home. If there is anything that you would particular like us to be working on please just let us know.

PE & Swimming

Our swimming takes place at Bewsey & Dallam Hub. Please send in a full kit including a towel and swim suit.

Our class enjoys group games, life skills opportunities and outdoor learning as part of our PE curriculum.

Class Funds

We kindly ask for a voluntary contribution of £1.50 per school week for snack. We also purchase cordial out of this for snack times. If you would like to send a healthy snack for your child, that is more appropriate please send £2.50 per half term to cover cooking ingredients during life skills lessons.

Thank you for your co-operation.
